Roberta di Camerino
Born in Venezia, Italy, 1911, Roberta di Camerino is internationally know for her spectacular original handbag designs, but also created exceptional women's and men's clothing and fine accessories. Since the 1950s, she has recevied the highest fashion awards and international exhibitions. Her favorite unusual fine material is hand-woven cut-velvet, in beautiful trompe l'oeil designs. But that's not all she like, you can find handbags made from exotic satins, nappa leather, suede, crocodile, python, and even shaved mink! Her clothing designs include surreal printed jersey that resembles all details of fine tailoring.
