Brand History

Gucci
There is very little to say for those of us who happen to view this section, about Gucci...

...Any large & fashion city in the world has at least one of their stores in their historical or modern city center...

...We could continue talking about their business start (by Guccio Gucci, in 1921), with many craftmen leather tiny sites around the city of Florence... Their first "boutique" in the center of Rome (Via Condotti, 1938)... their first export in the United States (1945)...

...Their first "FLORA" scarves, designed for Grace Kelly by Rodolfo Gucci & Vittorio Accornero...

...and their deep crisis during the early 90s, when TOM FORD saved the whole multinational company with his genius mind but mostly his unique fashion creativity...

...Audrey Hepburn, Maria Callas, Jackie Kennedy, Wallis Simpson Duchess of Winsor... this is only a minute list of famous names who made GUCCI their fashion guideline for many years of their important lives...

OPHERTY & CIOCCI has a variety of products which underline most of its history. Other than the famous Vintage "GG monograms" on many of the bags & accessories you will find, you might take a look at our "Home Decor" category, where you will find unique & gorgeous items.
