Prices and payment The unit price is shown next to each item and is expressed in USD/Euros. Currency when the transaction is carried is: USD. Shipping costs, which are not included in the price are calculated based on the final composition of the second order and the delivery method chosen. The payment of the purchase is made online via Paypal, and any other credit card that may be related to Paypal cart / payment process. Shipment of goods The order is prepared within hours of its submission and the shipment is made around the world via registered airmail, unless different delivery agreements have been made. HANDLING TIME - DELIVERY TIME Customs Papers are not required and content and value are not displayed on the package The package is usually delivered in about 7/10 business days for Europe, 15/20 business days for the USA and Canada, 20/30 business days to other Countries Full Insurance is available for some kinds of items and towards certain countries: please enquire. Fast Shipping, with or without Full Insurance, is also available although quite expensive: please enquire. Non–Standard fast shipping is available upon request. It is also the only shipping method available to dispatch bulky items and items weighing over 2Kg. Italian buyers are advised that items thicker than 5cm cannot be shipped by Registered Mail within Italy: for these items I will use Pacco Celere 3 ($15.00 standard and $19.00 insured). I usually ship on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. After receiving your payment, I will handle & ship your item in the next shipping available day I keep all shipping receipts issued by the Post Office as proof that the item was shipped on the day indicated on the Shipping Notification I send I cannot be held responsible for any delay in delivery caused by Poste Italiane or by the Postal System or the Customs of the Country of destination, nor can I be held responsible if the item cannot be delivered because the addressee is absent when the postman delivers the item, or if the addressee does not pick-up the package at his Local Post Office after the postman leaves a notice of unsuccessful delivery due to absence of the addressee. SHIPPING ADDRESSES I will only ship to your registered PayPal address, confirmed or unconfirmed. If you prefer a different address it will have to be specified on the PayPal invoice at the time of your payment. SHIPPING RISKS All items travel at your own risk: once I hand your item over to the Post Office, its custody and care is transferred by contract to the Post Office. My responsibility is limited to supply you with a copy of the original Post Office receipt as evidence that your item was shipped. NOTES ON INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING REGISTERED AIR MAIL Registered Air Mail (RAM) is available to all countries and is my standard shipping method for all packages weighting up to 2 Kg (6Lb 6,5Oz) and not exceeding a maximum package size (L+W+H) of 90cm (35,4"), with the longest side not exceeding 60cm (23,6"). RAM does not require the filling of Customs Papers and its content and value are not declared on the shipping ticket, not even when fully insured. RAM is usually delivered in about 7/10 business days to Europe, 15/20 business days to USA and Canada, 20/30 business days to all other countries. RAM can be insured for any value up to $3500, but only for some kinds of items and only towards certain countries: please enquire QUICK PACK EUROPE Any item whose shipping weight exceeds 2Kg or the maximum package size allowed for RAM can be shipped by Quick Pack Europe (QPE) to certain countries of the European Union: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Luxemburg, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom. QPE does not require the completion of Customs Papers and its content and value are not declared on the shipping form, not even when fully insured. QPE is usually delivered in 5 to 7 business days, not counting the day of shipment and any eventual delay caused by the Customs of the country of destination. QPE can be insured at a flat cost of $12 up to the maximum insured value of $5000, but only for some kinds of items: please enquire. QUICK PACK INTERNATIONAL Any item whose shipping weight exceeds 2Kg or the maximum package size allowed for RAM can be shipped to the countries not served by QPE via Quick Pack International (QPI). QPI is available towards 190 countries, requires the completion of Customs Papers and contents and value must be declared on the shipping form, even if uninsured. QPI is usually delivered in 7 to 10 business days, not counting the day of shipment and any eventual delay caused by the Customs of the country of destination. QPI is fully traceable and can be insured at a flat cost of $12 up to maximum insured value of $5000 but only for some kinds of items: please enquire. INTERNATIONAL POSTAL RULES Please remember that RAM, QPE and QPI are all subject to strict International Postal Rules. Someone must sign a receipt when the package is delivered, although not necessarily the addressee. If nobody is there to sign, the carrier or the postman will leave a note. The addressee will then have to personally go, carrying the note, to his carrier's office or to the post office and claim the package. If the package goes unclaimed for about 7 to 10 days it will be returned to the sender who will be charged for the return shipment and also for Import Fees unless the package is returned from one of the countries of the European Union. It is your responsibility to avoid this happening. If the package is returned I will ship proceed to send it back to you only if you will pay back the return shipment costs, the Import Fees if applicable, and the new shipping costs for dispatch. COMBINED PAYMENTS AND SHIPPING If more items are purchased, or if you intend to purchase additional items already listed, I will always accept your request to combine their payment. I will also accept your request to combine their shipments but I must specify two options: 1) this option is available for QPE and QPI, up to a total shipping weight of 30Kg and I will charge you the cost for the combined shipping weight. 2) for RAM each package cannot exceed a 2Kg shipping weight. For instance, if the combined shipping weight is 4Kg, I will divide the shipment in two packages and charge you for two shipments, which will however be cheaper than an item by item delivery. Moreover, I will continue to break-up your combined shipments in RAM lots of 2Kg up to the point where a single QPE or QPI shipment will cost the same or less than multiple RAM shipments. All this is easier to do than to explain … just trust our know-how and long experience! RETURNS AND REFUNDS All sales are final except in the case of gross misrepresentation: that is, when an item does not correspond objectively and significantly to its description. If this should happen the buyer is entitled to ask for the return of the item: I will accept these requests within 3 days from delivery of the item. The buyer will pay for the return shipment, including insurance if the original package was insured, and will apply good care in packing it. Upon inspecting the returned item and finding it in the same condition it was shipped out and in fact not corresponding to its description, I will make arrangements for a full refund through PayPal: the refund will include the item's price, its original shipping/insurance costs, and the return shipping/insurance costs If for some reason you are dissatisfied with the transaction, please contact me and give me an opportunity to correct the issue to your satisfaction: we can all make honest mistakes just out of distraction. Please try to be fair and do not split hairs or expect old objects to be exactly as new ones: even mint, new old stock, and unused items cannot be as new for the obvious reason that they have been sitting around for some time. Returns and Refunds Opherty S.r.l. grants you the Right of Withdrawal. Please ask for further instructions. You can claim this right within and not later than 10 working days from the date of receipt of the goods, under loss of the right itself by sending. The goods must be returned, in their original condition, within and not later than 10 working days from the date you received them (mentioned in the courier/mail delivery note copy given to you together with the goods themselves) to the address which OPHERTY & CIOCCI will advise via email, when the issue/problem is presented. According to the mentioned Italian Legislative Decree 185/99, Opherty S.r.l. will refund you the sum deducting delivery and other accessory costs, within the terms of law, the sum paid for the goods minus the sum paid for shipping costs and duties. Our main goal is to have ALL our customers completely satisfied after any process / shopping. Our main advice is to avoid buying items which you do not feel are OK for you, or you do not understand. Vintage items are not new items. Vintage is also “used”. Condition chart and various ratings are very clear. We have a very clear refund and return policy; we accept refunds, but we are not liable for any charges that do not include the price paid for the ITEM ONLY.
